Skating The Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade is a fun event.  The streets are closed off and we have a police escort through the city. It is a great opportunity to show people how fun, healthy and useful inline skating is.  Although the use of protective gear is not mandatory, it is strongly suggested you wear your helmet.  Wrist, Knee and Elbow pads are also suggested.  There are many obstacles and people, skating safe sets a great example for the public.

Please email me and confirm if you are volunteering to:

  • Distribute Solv Bags

  • Pick up Solv Bags
(see below descriptions of the jobs,  you can do both, or just one, most people choose to distribute the bags)

nancyh@hevanet.com
Be sure to bring your walking shoes, if it rains we are still expected to act as volunteers and hand out the bags.
They are counting on us.
