Roadhouse Rave
Thursday Night Roll On The West Side

Every new concept starts out a bit slow, and slowly builds momentum.  The route is being fined tuned, now we need the skaters!  This last Thursday June 10th, Brian, John and Nancy, met up with Josh and Kate, at the GI Joes parking lot.  Josh and Kate couldn't stay this week but wanted to stop by and wish us a good skate.

John, Brian and I set out about 7:20pm and made our way out into the beautiful sunset colored by the looming clouds hanging overhead.  It never rained, and was actually a quite warm evening.

We skated out of the parking area and across through the Synopsis complex, and out into the street behind it where we met up with Cornell and headed west toward the airport, North on Shute Rd and into Dawson Creek Park, to skate through the lazy ponds and trailing willow trees that grace the green lush landscape.

We hooked back up with Shute Rd, and picked up Evergreen skating down to Intel, and then over to the Hillsboro Stadium, then up to Cornelius Pass Rd, and into the Roadhouse, where we rested on the shade lawn, where picnic tables sat waiting for the multitude of skaters!!  Unfortunately the roadhouse had closed that night for a private party, so it was on to A&W for a root beer before heading home.
